About
Our School
We are a fully online elementary private school, offering synchronous online day school for grades 4-8. Our school is student-centred, focusing on individual learning styles and interests, with small class sizes. We foster a caring, inclusive, supportive atmosphere that instills and supports a love of learning. We are guided by the Ontario education curriculum and supplement with additional subjects and programming such as a focus on literacy skills, with teachers providing engaging lessons and extracurricular options.

Mission

Our mission is to work together to build a safe, respectful and nurturing environment focused on maximizing each child’s sense of wellbeing and acquisition of skills for life and learning. Our school empowers all students to embrace learning, achieve their personal best and build their emotional, social and physical well-being. We strive to support this environment by building a more inclusive curriculum, addressing a range of learning styles, offering a wide array of diversity efforts and programs, and by participating in the wider community.

Vision
Our vision is for each child to develop a curiosity of learning, discover their interests and grow in their love of learning. We aim to encourage each child to develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and respect for others in the environment. We wish to provide a well-rounded education focusing on academics, literacy, life skills, and moral excellence.

-
Students will log on to their classroom and attend class online with their teacher and other online students, moving through course content and daily schedule together as they would in an in-person elementary school.
 -
Small class sizes allow for individualized attention, lessons, and programming. We focus on academic and moral excellence, and development of the whole student in a supportive, kind atmosphere.
 -
While students are expected to attend class daily and remain in class for the full duration, we are understanding and offer accommodations for students and families requiring alternative schedules and attendance. *Please indicate this on your application form, or for students already enrolled, please contact administration to discuss accommodations/alternative attendance.
 -
Students that have not had a meeting or discussion regarding alternative attendance are expected to be in class daily on-time for the full duration.
 -
While we are guided by the Ontario curriculum, we extend beyond offering additional classes, skills, and opportunities. We use phonics for reading and writing development.
 -
Students will receive lessons in French and American Sign Language (ASL) with exposure to additional languages.
